The Littlest Details | Plano Photographer

If only we could freeze time.. The littlest of details at any age are the details we as moms want to remember. The dimples in the knuckles. The way those tiny toes curl. The chunky toddler feet & fingers. The wispy curls.

Triplets Turn One | Sneak Peek

Professional Family Portraits | Fort Worth

If it’s been a year of more since your last professional family portraits, it might be time to start thinking about booking a photographer for some!

I love taking clients with young children to my outdoor field location for family photos. It gives children plenty of space to be themselves and warm up to the camera. With so many years under my belt, I’ve learned to let the kids lead the session flow for the most enjoyable experience for everyone. For example, if kids are super happy at the beginning, we’ll begin with your full family photos! When searching for a family photography studio for your family portraits, I think it’s important to remember a few key details about the photographer.

1. Is their specialty in family photography? Or do you primarily see engagement and senior portraits? A family photographer that’s well trained in managing families may be more of what you need with multiple children. You know your kids best, so I always feel this is something to be mindful of as a client!

2. Do you want outdoor or studio space as your background? Finding a photographer that has an aesthetic that you are wanting is important. Milestones such as 3, 6, and 12 months are some of the sweetest moments in the whole world to document. Around 3 months, they’re smiling and engaging with the camera.
