There is just nothing like the newborn stage. As a mom of three, I know all too well how those first weeks fly by in a true blur. In the midst of of sleep deprivation, hormonal highs and lows and so much change, pausing to document your brand new little one while they’re still tiny is absolutely essential. But you know all this - you’ve already been daydreaming about what your baby will look like, how he’ll rock your world, how she’ll fit into the fabric of your family…
Every baby is unique, and my style of simple and natural posing truly allows your baby to shine as the focus of the session, from his curly toes to her wispy baby hair. As an experienced newborn photographer, you can trust me to capture all the sweet details of your perfect new addition that you won’t want to forget and of course, your first family portraits.

A detailed pre-session consult to go over everything you want to capture and how you envision displaying your portraits.
Up to 2.5 hours of time together photographing your new baby, either in my Plano studio for posed sessions or in the comfort of your home for lifestyle sessions.
Expertise of a photographer with 10+ years of experience who will prioritize your baby’s and your family’s health and safety.
Use of the studio collection of freshly cleaned blankets, wraps and headbands for baby, and use of the studio wardrobe for nearly 100 postpartum-friendly dress options for mom, plus shirts for dads and wardrobe for big siblings sizes 6m- size 8.
A viewing gallery of 35+ hand-edited images that we’ll review together in-person or via zoom at your design and ordering appointment 2-3 weeks after your session.

when to schedule
Newborn sessions can be booked any time from when you’ve gotten the good news that you’re expecting to when you’re holding your newborn in your arms. Your session is booked using your due date as a placeholder in my calendar and is then scheduled as soon as baby is born for an upcoming weekday morning. Posed sessions in my studio are ideally scheduled within 1-3 weeks of baby’s birth, and in-home lifestyle sessions can be schedule when baby is anywhere from 1-12 weeks old.
