Plano Maternity Session | Maternity Photo Session

One of the saddest things I’m told so often is ‘I wish I had taken maternity photos.’

Here’s a few obvious reasons why it’s so sad:

• You can never get that time back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

• Read the first one

• Read that again.

That’s it. That’s THE obvious reason it’s so sad! We can never get that time back. That means not having photos to pass down to your babies. That means not having those memories documented. I know someone who had her baby prematurely at 24 weeks and has only 2 photos of her pregnant, and she was barely showing. Those TWO images are all she has to show her 7 year old daughter now.

Don’t knock it to the bottom of your to-do list. Schedule it now. You’ll thank me later, even if it’s not with me!

I’ve seen quite a few older kids and newborns, so it was fun having an older baby in the studio for this session! His little smile is just the best, right?!

I can’t wrap my brain around how it is August in just a few days. We jumped from Spring Break to starting school again in no time flat and it has me a little dizzy just thinking about it.

Working again after the big COVID shutdown, especially with such incredible families, has been so helpful in keeping myself grounded and purposeful. You get real intentional with your time when you’ve got a lot of high priority roles every day and while I’m far from doing it perfectly, I’m definitely appreciating it all.
