Still reeling a bit at the realization that we’re in the final stretch of 2020, holidays are right around the corner, and we’re so many months into a pandemic but still moving forward with precautions. I think if you sit on the thought of it all a little too long, the overwhelm begins to creep in. I think as women, we tend to keep our plates full to help keep us busy so we don’t necessarily have time to sit and think too long to be overwhelmed.
I don’t say all of it in any way but the honest truth that I find to be a common thread among moms, working and stay at home alike. There’s power in knowing you are not alone and have a community of others with similar feelings, worries, and anxieties. I hope you are surrounding yourself in community as much as possible right now, mama! It’s one of the best medicines for the soul possible.
