Adding another baby into the mix is not easy. Helping the oldest adjust and being available to them still as much as possible, but also having to teach them so much patience for such a small being. You're both exhausted & so beyond proud of your oldest and sometimes all of it gets jumbled up into a chaos of excitement - both good and bad 'excitement'. But you know what? It's ok. You and your partner are doing a better job than you realize and your oldest is watching you both in amazement, I promise.
I know it's not easy, but you're doing the hard work and you're doing a good job. Keep moving forward, and when push comes to shove, try out my tried & true method: water or sun. Take them outside or get them in some water (even better if it's a combo of the two!) and I promise you, spirits will be all around lifted and soothed.
