I encourage my families with older kiddos and toddlers to choose a field session for a few reasons. One is that they can run around and be silly to get some of their energy out and gain trust with me. Taking a few minutes to gently allow kids to warm up to me makes a huge difference, and allowing them some wide open space to be silly is every kid’s dream!
I know many mamas worry about how their little ones will behave during a session and totally get it. I promise to help you throughout the whole process, explain to the kids in a kid-friendly way what to do, and pause before the ‘need' to’ moment hits. I’m good at sensing those ;)
