Guys. My baby just turned two this week. TWO. And you know what it got me thinking about? How fast these two years flew by (and puh-leeeeeease, do not remind me that my oldest is now six and a HALF. Where are the years going? HELP!).
I know, I know. You’ve heard everyone tell you. The days are long, but the years, people. THE YEARS! Your baby will arrive and be new and squishy and sleepy (and then not sleepy! not at night, at least!). And it will feel like each day is 130,502,026 minutes long when you are exhausted. But they will FLY. And if you don’t capture it, you will miss it.
I love how this family has genuinely prioritized capturing their son’s first year. They opted for newborn portraits in the comfort of their home to show off baby’s incredible nursery - I love the built-ins and character in the space! - and to showcase his furry big brother and sister.
The other wonderful thing about an in-home session is that there is NO wrong time to book a session, whether you are newly pregnant or snuggling with your new little one in your arms as you’re looking at these photos (OR your not-so-little-anymore one - they’ll never be littler than they are today). If you are a McKinney-area mama or mama-to-be interested in more information on a lifestyle newborn session, please drop me a line! I’d love to tell you more!
