So many moms I speak with about newborn photos tell me that they are unsure about capturing maternity images because they are self conscious about the way they look. They don't realize that not only is pregnancy so incredibly beautiful, it is fleeting. While the third trimester can feel like an eternity, it's only a blip in time. I know that I wish I had more images of my own mom when she was pregnant with me (and she didn't take almost any because - you guessed it - she didn't like the way she looked). So when this mom contacted me about her second baby on the way, I was so thrilled that she wanted to capture the before AND the after. We scheduled a maternity session at home, and a lifestyle newborn session for after her little man arrived. And it was an absolute joy getting to watch her family grow.
