This guy is going to be the best big brother, I already know. As a mom of three, I’ve gotten to witness both of my boys become such sweet big brothers, and maternity sessions are so special to capture the anticipation of the coming change for big brothers! This session from last year makes me so excited for all of the families I get to see this upcoming Fall! And for cooler weather, oh my gosh. This Texas heat!! I don’t think any one ever gets used to it - I know I sure haven’t yet. This Chicago girl is dying for cooler temps, but I digress ;)

Plano Maternity Session | Maternity Photo Session

One of the saddest things I’m told so often is ‘I wish I had taken maternity photos.’

Here’s a few obvious reasons why it’s so sad:

• You can never get that time back. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.

• Read the first one

• Read that again.

That’s it. That’s THE obvious reason it’s so sad! We can never get that time back. That means not having photos to pass down to your babies. That means not having those memories documented. I know someone who had her baby prematurely at 24 weeks and has only 2 photos of her pregnant, and she was barely showing. Those TWO images are all she has to show her 7 year old daughter now.

Don’t knock it to the bottom of your to-do list. Schedule it now. You’ll thank me later, even if it’s not with me!

My fall calendar for newborn sessions differs a bit from my family sessions calendar. If you are expecting before the end of 2020 and are on the fence about having a newborn session, I would love nothing more than to hop on a phone call with you to go through your hesitations, concerns, or hang ups! Family Studio Session | Dallas Area Photographer

I’ve seen quite a few older kids and newborns, so it was fun having an older baby in the studio for this session! His little smile is just the best, right?!

Milestone sessions with your babies at 9-18 months are so fun. Your baby is moving and grooving by then, smiling, cooing, and lots of personality is starting to shine! While I love my newborns, something about older babies that tugs at my heart.
