Some of my most favorite moments are between moms and their little ones. Motherhood is gentle but tough, and there’s something incredibly special about photographing it. Here are 3 reasons why I believe you need a motherhood session at least once with your babies.
Look through your phone and tell me how many photos you’re in with your kids within the first few scrolls. I’d be willing to bet there’ probably aren’t many, if any. Selfies only half count here! Moms are often the ones taking the photos, behind the camera. That means you’re documenting your family’s beautiful day-to-day moments but you’re hardly ever represented in them, too. Your kids deserve to have photos with their mom throughout their childhood to have.
Let’s face it, we all know that dad’s typically can’t the biggest fan of picture day. Motherhood session = no dad, so you don’t have to drag him to the studio! Just bring the kids and we will play dress up, have a dance party, and some great tickle fights. This session is to document the special moments you share with your babies. Dad’s can always join us for family portraits another time!
We all know that babies don’t keep, but neither do toddlers. Or kids. Or even teens. Somehow, in the midst of the day to day life, I find myself now looking at my own children, well out of toddlerhood and realize it happens in a flash. It’s never too early or too late to invest in professional portraits with your children.
